This weekend I had the chance to photograph 7 week old Copper Aplin, son of Micah, and Jody Wood Aplin. This is a example as well of a on-location photo shoot, this set was inside Cooper’s room, in the comfort of their own home. I can always bring my equipment with me, being able to transform any room into a photo studio.It was such a treat! Here are some of the images that captured some treasured moments! Congratulations again to the new parents Micah & Jody! I look forward to capturing more moments in your family’s life!

Hope Hargrove (my niece), Lauren and Shelbie are great friends, and they are part of the Duncanville Middle School Dance Line. We had a great shoot at Capitol Park, and the River Walk, in Tuscaloosa. Here is a sneak peak!

I had the great opportunity of meeting this lovely couple, Brooke & Matt. We had such a great time shooting that day, it was a hot & humid day, but they were such great sports!They were not afraid to get down and and this case…sandy! They are from Birmingham, Alabama, and soon they will have a reception there for all of the guests who were not able to be in Destin for their ceremony. I look forward to being there and getting some great shots, & photographing them in the future. Congratulations again guys!

It was the perfect day! The weather was just right, and the skies were clear!This couple was so much fun to shoot with, very rarely do a lot of men really enjoy taking photos, but Gary sure made the best of it! And they looked great!!!You can see they were just so happy to be there with each other! Congratulations you guys, you both deserve the best!
FYI: Hair Styling and make up provided by me. I am a hairstylist and make up artist as well. So my beauty services are provided prior to the photo shoot if requested. And I am always ready for touch ups throughout the shoot with the right tools.

Here is a great example on how to edge it up! Christy Lollar really worked it yesterday! She took the time to blow-dry and straighten her hair that morning, but of course I had to get in it at some point .The first photos we did , her hair was still intact but that is what you want when you are wanting to have classic portrait photos done, you want to be sure your hair looks natural. later as we moved on to other parts of this wonderful location our surroundings became a bit more colorful and darker tones surrounded us, so I knew it was time to kick up the edge. within 2 minutes I had her hair super messy, and it was HOT! Once I took a few shots of it down & messy then I began to pin itup. It sure looks as if it took a very long time but it did not take longer than 4 minutes!Christy really began to interact with the camera, becoming a true model! Yesterday was a great day! I really enjoyed the photo shoot with Kayla & Caden. It was a beautiful afternoon, and the sun was just right! So happy to have captured some really great smiles!
I am so happyto know one of these photos of baby Caden will be in this year’s Valentine’s day baby contest in the Tuscaloosa News!
